Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Manali – Local Exploration
Arrive in Manali and check into your hotel. Take the day to relax and acclimatize to the hill town’s atmosphere. If time allows, explore the bustling Mall Road, visit Hadimba Temple, or enjoy a riverside walk along the Beas River. This evening, prepare your trekking gear, get excited, and soak in the charm of this picturesque town. Overnight stay in Manali.
Day 2: Manali – Solang Valley – Trek to Dhundi (8,500 ft)
After breakfast, drive to Solang Valley (approximately 30-40 minutes), the starting point of the trek. From Solang, begin your scenic hike to Dhundi, a beautiful meadow surrounded by pine trees and the roar of the Beas River. The gentle trail is perfect for beginners and offers panoramic views of snow-capped peaks. Upon reaching Dhundi, settle into your campsite amidst the serene alpine setting. Day 3: Dhundi – Trek to Bakar Thach (10,800 ft)

Day 4: Trek to Beas Kund (12,772 ft) – Return to Dhundi – Drive to Manali

As you trek upward, the terrain turns rocky, the air gets thinner, but the sight of the turquoise lake surrounded by towering peaks is breathtaking.
